The Lavish Lab is a bespoke event planning and decor firm that specializes in outfitting unforgettably unique event decor to commemorate all of the special moments in life.
The concept of The Lavish Lab was born out of necessity and sheer ingenuity in New York City. Founded by international recording artist and drag superstar Bebe Zahara Benet, who has provided design and decor for events for over a decade, the need for The Lavish Lab made itself known as every event began looking and feeling the same.
Based on a few simple principles—there is no such thing as a small event, just a small imagination, a little design and decor goes a long way and no two events should ever be the same—The Lavish Lab began producing events quietly in 2015. As business began to swell, so did the desire to make a splash and officially introduce the brand to the public.
In 2018, The Lavish Lab launched as a full-scale event coordination and decor imprint. One year later, Benet starred in TLC’s Drag Me Down the Aisle special, which turned into a full series. Benet currently serves as the resident event planning and decor expert on TLC’s Dragnficent! and continues to design interiors for special experiences and events across the U.S.
